Mexico symposium

I am going to Cozumel in Mexico for the third International Tropical Marine Ecosystems Management Symposium (ITMEMS), and will visit some community-based conservation projects in Sian Ka'an too.

The overall goal of the Symposium is described as "to develop the capacities of coral reef managers to implement programs that support the covservation and sustainable use of coral reefs and related ecosystems at the local, national, regional and global levels".

So that looks like less science than ISRS and more practical stuff...all in the environs of a luxury hotel in an offshore duty free island.
